Position: Precast Concrete Installer

Salary: Negotiable DOE

Hours/Location: Mon-Fri – Variable hours based on location

Core Responsibilities

• Installation of our concrete stairs/beams/hollowcore/bespoke products in a safe and professional manner.
• Reading Milbank designs and installing products accordingly.
• Offloading delivery vehicles.
• Working with mobile and tower cranes.
• Grouting and finishing floors to a high standard of accuracy.
• Ensuring installations follow our Risk assessment and Method Statement.

Other Responsibilities

• Completing regular CPD or training to improve your skill set.
• Being pro-active with Health and Safety whilst on site.
• Liaising with the Authorised Person to ensure that works are carried out as planned.
• Liaise with the Milbank design department to safely resolve challenges on site.
• To demonstrate and maintain a positive “can-do” approach to all aspects of the role.
• Representing Milbank whilst on sites across the Southeast.

Key Individual Skills

• UK driving license will be essential.
• Experience working with cranes is ideal but not required.
• Practical problem-solving skills will be essential to the role.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills will be required in all aspects of the role.
• A confident and professional manner.

Other Information

• This position is full time, site based only. You will be working within a team; all aiming to achieve the same goal.
• Access to your own transport would be ideal to allow teams to meet before travelling to site.
• We offer excellent training progression and will be looking for an enthusiastic person with the desire to ‘do more’.
