Another step closer to net zero as Milbank take delivery of electric fork trucks

We’re thrilled to introduce two new additions to our yard fleet – the Baumann EGX Fully-Electric Sideloaders.

 

Mark Ellis, Business Development Manager at Milbank Concrete Products, is pleased to introduce two new special additions to our yard fleet – the Baumann EGX Fully-Electric Sideloader Forklifts!

These machines come with an impressive 8-hour battery life along with both auto-deck levelling and VRS outreach systems. Joining our other forklifts powered by HVO biofuel, they’ll be used to load prestressed concrete T-beams and Hollowcore Planks to transport, ready for delivery to site…emission free!

Not only will these new vehicles continue to help streamline our processes, but they’re also a significant stride towards our goal of becoming the most sustainable precast concrete manufacturer in the UK.

Our continued investment into new sustainable technology demonstrates our commitment to achieving net zero emissions for our own operations by 2030.
